Simon Gore enjoyed a successful career as a professional musician until physical limitations and chronic pain threatened to put an end to his work as a performer. He began taking regular Alexander lessons and things quickly began to change. Becoming fascinated by Alexander’s work itself, he decided to train as a teacher.

Simon certified as a teacher of the F. M. Alexander Technique in 2003. Since that time he has been teaching at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, Bath Spa University, and in private practice in his home town of Bristol. He has also organised workshops for the public and for private organisations.
